A proud resident of Georgia’s House 48th District

Improving patient healthcare has been my life’s work. For over 35 years, I helped lead healthcare organizations – including the American Heart Association, Emory Healthcare, and Johns Hopkins Hospital – to bring more efficient, more effective, and more patient-centered healthcare to everyone that walks into a hospital, doctor’s office or clinic.

Having worked with over 700 hospitals and thousands of physicians and other providers I know that we can have better healthcare, with better outcomes, and with reduced costs. It takes leadership and dedication to make these positive changes, which is exactly the kind of guidance and commitment I have shown throughout my career helping patients throughout the Southeast.

Today you can find me continuing my passion of improving patient-centered care with hospitals and healthcare centers through my own consulting company.

A Georgia resident since 1987, I’ve lived in Roswell since 1993. I grew up in rural Louisiana, and am a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical Center and the University of New Orleans.

My husband Rory and I have been married for 40 years. We are the proud parents of twin sons, Scott and Chad. While my sons were growing up in Roswell, I served on everything from the PTA boards to being a Parent Representative on the Fulton County Disciplinary Board. Scott is now an Assistant District Attorney in Savannah and Chad is conducting medical research at Emory.

I am also the proud daughter of a World War II Navy veteran who shares our lives and our home here in Roswell. When I’m not working or spending time with my family, you can find me sailing, traveling, reading, and gardening.
