Proud to Call GA 48th Home for Over 25 Years

[ Mary’s Background ]

A Georgia resident since 1988, I’ve lived in Roswell since 1993. I grew up in rural Louisiana, and am a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical Center and the University of New Orleans.  Since graduation, I have worked over 35 years in Healthcare Management focusing on improving care for people in communities across the Southeast US.

My husband Rory and I have been married for 40 years. We are the proud parents of twin sons, Scott and Chad. While my sons were growing up in Roswell, I served on everything from the PTA boards to being a Parent Representative on the Fulton County Disciplinary Board. Scott is now an Assistant District Attorney in Savannah and Chad is conducting medical research at Emory.

I am also the proud daughter of a World War II Navy veteran who shares our lives here in Roswell. When I’m not working or spending time with my family, you can find me sailing, traveling, reading, and gardening.

In 2018, my team and I were part of the biggest upset in Georgia politics. The formula was no secret: we had adult conversations with Roswell and Alpharetta residents about what was truly affecting their lives. With the same dedication to common sense, and a focus on public service, we can continue to shape politics in 2020 and beyond.
